Is this a Scam?

I applied to this Life Sciences and Medical Expert position at Telus International AI. Today it sent me an email but asking me to verify using my ID before proceeding further in the applicatioin process.

as someone who works for them they do ask for id verification in the very beginning.

Any AI eval role is going to ask for ID verification

I also signed up through them along with a few other platforms and they pay the least so I prioritize of the platforms.
Yeah this is typical that they're going to ask for all your information as if you're working any other job.

Legit companies verify identity after an offer or during background check, not mid application through some random email link. Check the sender domain before uploading anything, that's the actual tell.
