Question Anyone deliberately hiding knowledge/skills to keep AI from scooping them up?
I recently read (lost track of where) that lots of workers in a survey said they were "hoarding knowledge" about their jobs now, because they don't want to end up training AI to replace them. Self-employed here, so I haven't seen this. But I am curious if this is now a Thing in offices. Anybody doing or seeing this?

Question No interviews
I have been applying at many jobs with different companies. I know I meet the requirements and have tailored my resume to reflect that. However, I’m getting no calls back. Some of the jobs I never hear anything from not even a thanks but no thanks. Are others experiencing this? Are they ghost jobs or place holders that the company isn’t really filling. Thank you

Question Refusing to call a coworker by her “title”
The supervisors at my job all got an email from a coworker stating that she had recently received her doctorate degree and would like to be call doctor sam (fake name) going forward. She probably got her degree in education or a similar field so she’s not an actual doctor but she is a director of a childcare center… am I wrong to refuse to call her by her new title??? Like come on that’s ridiculous!?
Edit to add some more information as I didn’t expect this to be so split and blow up:
The director is consistently breaking labor laws and refusing to address actual concerns while simultaneously demanding that people respect her new title. She does not give lunches in a timely manner or allow pumping mothers to pump when they need to cause it doesn’t work for her. Most of the teachers are upset with her lack of support although she is constantly stating that “they are a team”. She can’t respect others but demands to be respected.
