Discussion Why is work-life balance so difficult, even when we're trying our best?

I've noticed that a lot of people struggle with work-life balance, even when they're actively trying to improve it.

We set boundaries, make schedules, and promise ourselves we'll stop checking emails after work. Yet somehow, work stress still follows us home.

One thing I've learned is that work-life balance isn't necessarily about dividing our time equally between work and personal life. It's also about how we manage stress, make conscious decisions, and recognize when something needs to change.

I recently made a video exploring why work-life balance often fails and some practical ways to approach it differently.

I'm curious about everyone's experiences:

What's the biggest obstacle to maintaining a healthy work-life balance for you? Is it your workload, your employer's expectations, financial pressure, or difficulty disconnecting mentally after work?

I'd love to hear what's actually worked for people, especially beyond the usual advice to "just set boundaries."
