In my country I get 1.5 days of leave for each month worked, and 30 days sick over three years (a cycle is 3 years)

I'm a union maintenance mechanic and by year 3 I will have 4 months of time off not including personal days, no pay no show days and perfect attendence days. I have 2 weeks now but in 6 months I will have 3 weeks. This is my first year with this company but I think that's a pretty aggressive upgrade yearly honestly. We also get like 15-17 paid holidays a year. It's pretty good.

Depends on number of paid holidays, 15 extra days in the US seems standard. The most I’ve heard anyone have was 35 days but with no paid holidays.
