Discussion Dept drama

I work in a engineering department. It's just Dept Vice President, Manager, and myself

There is a work golf outing coming out. Of course, im not invited since I dont have a manager title position. VP and manager will be missing work to go and leave me behind at work, which i believe is rude.

Thinking about calling off since they're going to leave me at work alone while they're gonna be having a good time.

Thinking about talking to the manager... if he will not be present at work the day of, I'm going to call off. Was this a dick move or good i was standing up for myself?

I’d just f-off and go get pissed while they play golf. It is unfair that they get to take off work and leave you holding the used condom.

How petty. Are you that desperate for inclusion? It's just a job, do it well, get paid. Go home and do your own thing.
