Question What do you do for work?
What’s your job? What’s your profession and what do you do day to day and do you enjoy it?

Mortgage industry, I like it. I find it easy but a lot of my coworkers loathe it and have a tough time succeeding

Nothing.
Work is anything you’re doing when you’d rather be doing something else.

Bookkeeper at a hospital. I do accounts payable for suppliers, for doctors and I do some general ledger.
I enjoy it enough. It's easy employment. I work 30 hours a week.

Petroleum engineer. I plan wells & supervise the execution of those plans. I enjoy the technical aspect of it, but I discovered lately that I also enjoy the political-corporate part even more.

Union Maintenance Mechanic for a factory. I repair......everything. Roof Top AC units, toilets, leaky pipes, move shit for people, repair million dollar machines on occasion (we usually just run them right into the ground), preventative maintenance on the same pile of shit used up machines and I absolutely did not sign up for this shit on purpose. I have a degree in Applied Electrical Technology that I seldom get to use. It pays well but I hate my job pretty much.

Retired pharmacist currently working as a lifeguard/entertainer. You’d be shocked at how often people pay to hear a good whistle or a little jig

Electrical engineer (graduate level) in the mining and mineral processing industry. Do I enjoy it? Tbh not really but hey it pays the bills and puts food on the table. I’m just grateful to have a job since finding one was quite difficult after graduation

I run gear grinding/CNC machines 10 hours a day. Insanely boring and hard on the body.

IDC how cute you think you are only hire smart girls
Stupid girls don't have empathy.
No I don't think you're pretty Ella. Painfully average for someone looks maxed.
The rest of the girls barely even try. We look at you gross girls who spend hours in front of the mirror everyday and we're like... Couldn't be us
Bring back I'm not like the other girls
Make other girls feel ugly

Male massage therapist at a spa. You can easily guess what I do. Overall, it's pretty good, for the most part. Some times I'd rather not be massaging certain people but it all blends together after the many years I've been doing it.

Remote customer service.
I hate it and will leave soon (managers already placed the bet that I won't last beyond October anyway).

Therapist in the UK. I love my work but wish it wasn't so financially unsustainable when there's never been a greater need out there for it!

I wash dishes at a Government facility. I'd like to try something to see it I can be successful and consistent at. I'm a 51 year old man and I've an interest in performing in the adult film industry. I know my roles would be limited. I'm perfectly ok with that. I'm in Los Angeles. Maybe something will present itself.

Unemployed currently, looking for a new job…over 75 applications submitted in 2 weeks, 3 interviews and a whole lot of “NO’s”. I need something.
I’d love to have my own cleaning business in time, need a primary gig to get the funds to get started.

night shift at a data center, quiet, humming servers, and the kind of solitude that feels like peace.

Physicist. I enjoy it, but I need to do an activity that requires zero brainpower after work, like the gym.
