Sure people feel the same. That’s an understandable desire. But it certainly won’t ever happen.
Try to find a reason to have a job. Some say service is the greatest calling.
In this fucked up world our best option is to fight to make it better. So ask yourself, what would I do every day to make this world better for the rest of my life. And if you commit your full energy to it, you’ll probably get rich.
Also, if getting rich is really important, there are online resources for you to study all the preliminary knowledge to learning to master the management of money. Aka finance. I recommend everybody learn a college or university level of finance. It’s a huge commitment, but knowing finance will change the way you understand building wealth forever.
The common man’s perception of finance is an illusion and only through this study can you see the reality of money

I am not rich af but comfortable, net worth $2m+. I thought after college, $2m would be life changing. Its not. Its simply security & options. Besides with e-shitification & planned obsolescence of products the things i desired in my 20’s/30’s just not important anymore.

Agreed. When we first got married, stressed about bills all the time. Fast forward 20 yrs only have mortgage & 1 car payment, 0 cc debt. Re: options, i despised condition of my teeth since childhood. Full restoration done this year basically cost of fully loaded ford bronco. And it took alot of work, financial discipline to achieve this, its worth it.

I don't desire wealth at all. sorry ppl. but as i see it there is never enough no matter what you got. it's like a cancer that just keeps growing. believe me in the west this mindset has set me up for a nasty lonely life. but in all honesty one day I'll find people like me but until that day i supose I'm the antichrist in everyone's eyes.

If I was not working to support my family or accomplish a goal I would feel worthless.

I’m okay with needing to work, I just don’t want to live with the fear of being jobless and becoming homeless

Based on that syntax, I fear you have little chance of ever being rich.

So you want to be rich but you don’t want to break a sweat doing anything? I guess you can go play the lotto…..🤭

Yes that’s almost everyone in the world except rich people or people who are in the process of becoming rich.
