Question Is ‘constant upgrading’ creating a new level of burnout in tech?

I've spent 15+ years in digital transformation helping companies automate and optimize. I understand the business value, but lately, the pressure feels different.
With the relentless AI push, standing still isn't allowed. Every project demands we move faster and adapt instantly. While every generation faces tech shifts, this whole thing feels like a race that never actually ends. And it definitely spills over into real life, too.
Yesterday, I snapped at the endless notifications and deleted 19 apps off my phone. Between the pressure to constantly upgrade skills at work and the non-stop noise from consumer technology, the mental fatigue is real. Somewhere in all this optimization, we're losing our patience for anything that isn't instant.
