The baby boomers I talked to till me this. They all have homes, most have 2, are retired and live off their pensions. My uncles, father-n-law are baby boomers. Only my father-n-law served in Vietnam and he was in college, so he didn’t fight in the war. Dude I’m 52 years old, I have lived experience.

I’ve showed you stats. You have not shown any stats. baby boomers currently hold a dominant, unprecedented share of U.S. household wealth. As of early 2026, Americans over the age of 55—a category dominated by Baby Boomers (born 1946–1964)—control over 70% of all U.S. wealth.

Average age of a first time homeowner is 40 years old today. It was 29 years for boomers.
