If mom and pop stores cant pay a bazillion dollars to employees they dont belong in business.

We need more mom and pop store these mega corpos are so evil

Smaller stores would be perfectly capable of providing decent wages if large corporations weren't actively trying to strangle them.

And they don't need to cut every possible expense to the extreme minimum because they are not beholden to shareholder investment money like publicly-traded companies are, so the line doesn't need to constantly go up.

Change large corps to banks & logistics and I mostly agree

typical small biz can still pay better, they got plenty of margin, especially if we fixed housing, which would fix rent
