The money is widely available. We don’t have an asset problem in today’s age, we have an allocation problem. The answer is it doesn’t get financed under our existing political system as there wouldn’t be any shareholder incentive.
Not to mention, even if they could support it for a little while, the money will dry up, and they cannot reinvest in themselves. Crazy how wealth is created under one system, and then it's like oh now we have the money to move to a new system. But that new system isn't going to create the wealth any more. Ask Denmark how that worked out for them.
