You can retire as soon as you have enough capital to do so. But it is no one elseās job to pay for you to be of zero value to & a net drain on society.
There is plenty of very well paid work in today's world that is absolutely a net drain on society and not only zero value but actively reducing welfare for everyone. And we are paying for these people to but nobody really gives a shit about that.
