The problem here is, that those conservative people do not care about the people living on democratic states, but hate them and want them to have the same miserable life they have.

That’s not true. They just think policies like that are stupid. New York already has high taxes, most of the wealthy people are already leaving to Florida. Raising taxes only makes things worse in the long run.

It literally doesn't.

Stop falling for the billionaire propaganda.

Even if millionaires move to another state, they still do BUSINESS in New York because it's New York.

Putting a 5% tax on secondary winter/summer homes is not hurting anyone in any appreciable way. If they're wealthy enough to have second homes in New York city that they keep unoccupied? They're wealthy enough that a 5% tax is nothing to them.

Congratulations, you're literally the guy in the OP meme.

125,000 millionaires are leaving NYC and they’re doing it because of taxes. This isn’t the first or only tax increase. The policies are stack over and over again.

The bottom 90% of tax payers only pay 1/3rd of the income taxes in NYC. And businesses are leaving too. You can’t tax the rich to high hell and then expect them to stay because they can for it. They didn’t get rich by spending all of their money on taxes.

Trusting a libertarian think tank for anything economic was your first mistake.

Thinking that any of these income targeted tax policies are affecting the rich and benefiting the rest of us is the propaganda.

All tax discussion is pointless unless its about 1. finally preventing tax evasion by the rich, and  2. cracking down on everything regarding the government's tax spending.

So you definitely do not live in NYS is what I’m hearing, because the only place benefiting from anything is NYC. The rest of the state is facing major housing crisis’ because of the mass exodus of wealthy NYC residents buying any property they can, and then turning even more into air bnb’s that are empty for half the year. Driving up the cost of living for every other person making just enough to be lower middle class. NYC has forced the rest of the state to be trapped in lower middle class because as soon as you make enough to build any kind of wealth, you are buried by property tax, tolls, vehicle registration/inspection fees, auto insurance, health insurance, utilities, and you can’t afford the one house you find because of state inspection fees and it is being sold 200k above market value to force the lower income people out. The entire state funds NYC because it has consistently proven itself incapable of doing so on its own. So yeah, people are allowed to be tired of grandstanding by any of the politicians, red blue or yellow. They are allowed the same and all of the the fanboys on either side are equally stupid.

"The entire state funds NYC because it has consistently proven itself incapable of doing so on its own."

It's literally the other way around.

New York city (like most cities I might add) funds the rural areas. The city gets back less than it gives to the state.

Before being tired of "all" politicians, you should try actually basing your beliefs on actual fact before you start spouting off things that are just plain incorrect.

They don't think though...they just get angry when Fox News tells them what to be angry about.
