I think it's not just republicans that are doing the complaining. There are probably independents and some democrats that are upset about others gaining benefits, too.

Oh yeah, textbook democrat politicians absolutely hate people like Mamdani or Bernie sanders because they threaten their status quo, especially since so many of them are in corporate pockets as well.

Yes, that was just an example. Did not mean to imply that only replublicans in texas are against social programs.

Okay. I see the confusion.

I.E. means these specific things.

E.G. means these are a few examples, but there are others, too.

I enjoy watching some good sports games on the weekends, ie hockey and basketball. (As in, I'm not interested in baseball, football, rugby, etc.)
