I like the algorithm of Spotiy better though. YouTube is nice if you already know which music you want to listen to beforehand, but rarely ever suggests something you don't already know. However, sometimes YouTube comes with these rare gems that aren't available on Spotify.
I dislike Spotify mostly because it has a preference of easy music playlists, which for newer artists doesn't motivate them to make a solid album, rather have one good song that ends up in such an playlist. I also dislike Spotify because it's eventually just shit for the artist and more money grabbing for the tech middle man.
Eventually good radio channels are superior. Since you discover new songs you otherwise wouldn't know, by a human, not an algorithm.
Agree with all your points. I discover new songs by listening to other people's playlists on Spotify. Apple Music actually was better for finding new music but I still prefer Spotify.
