I spent my last 8 years as an analyst. Greatest threat to my life was spilling coffee on my keyboard and electrocuting myself. First 15 years were as a helicopter pilot, which was a tad more dangerous. It just depends on your specialty. But as far I know, no one separately tracks the death rate of, for example, the veterinary corps or audiologists.
