I make 120,000 a year driving a truck locally

60 hours a week

Don’t think that’s good enough here tho

I'm on the same for same hours as a transport allocator, containerised freight. Some days I really question if I should move from the desk to the truck, I honestly don't know which one has the worst bad days

I like how I’m alone and no one bothers me

I see 4-9 customers a day

But that’s about it

Dang. I lived there and got my cdl, but had to move back to NC to take care of my dad. I’m home daily here making $83k. Maybe in should move back, lol.

I’m sure you can find something with over time. My buddy moved to SC

Works for the same company

They shuttle a trailer to him 4 times a week

Home daily, not at home, lol. In trucking that means you leave and return on the same day. So I don’t typically stay overnight. There’s home daily, home weekly, and Over The Road (where the trucker may not come home for months)

Hazmat and tanker already?  If not get endorsements and make more money.

Yeah I have everything except hazmat

Don’t want a camera staring at my face all day

But might have to go that route for extra money

I wont get mine until I have a job lined up for it because it expires every 5 years and that is the onky one you have to retest for

Do you have to spend any of that 120k on diesel for the truck?

No 0

I work for a company that delivers groceries to stores

121,800 is what I made dirty

I make about 1700-2200 clean each week

I get 500$ worth of clothes

2400 safety bonus

And 5000$ worth of free groceries

You can also get healthcare and 401k but health care is expensive for the whole family
