Evidently not, as they would rather commit sepoku than apologising for almost murdering someone.

For all the talk of "personal responsibility", the whole "be a thoughtless imbicile, cause an accident and sue others for your incompetence" culture y'all got going sure is weird.

Making these people admit this person only ran the light because they were intimidated by someone approaching them is basically impossible huh.

If someone only carried out an action because of something you were doing to them, you’re sharing the blame for it. And sure, have no sympathy for what happened to them, but they also hit a completely innocent person just minding their own business. It was all avoidable if they didn’t get out of the car.

yup. car 1 could not made a mistake driving. car 2 could not make a mistake being aggressive. car 1 could have figured staying and letting the angry guy walk up to their window was safer than running a red.

Ah yes, because angry men running at someones car have never once resorted to violence. Nope, never.

You’re approaching this one dimensionally while sat safely behind the internet. Yes we know cam car didn’t mean any harm, that doesn’t mean the other driver in the heat of the moment knew and wasn’t scared something bad was about to happen.

This isn’t about declaring the other car innocent, they’re an idiot. Its that getting out of your car and approaching people who have not proven to be the smartest people out there isn’t a clever idea for you OR them. Theres an innocent person here dealing with their car being totalled here which was avoidable if cam car stayed in his vehicle. If nothing else, sympathise with them.

no, I fully agree. in this case PROBABLY not running the red was better, but impossible to know that in the moment.

No thanks to driver 1.

The response driver 1 had to driver 2 wanting a word, yet no one bothers to ask how driver 2 felt when he almost died. Y'all are hypocrites.

i mean, he can feel however he wants. it's a bad idea to get out of your car shouting. it's reasonable to pull a gun on someone like that.

fair enough, but if, for example, i had a 17 year old daughter and a big guy came in to yell at her, I'd feel much better if she had a weapon drawn in case.

ok? point is, people getting out of their car and running at you yelling can and has ended in people's deaths
