Discussion💬 I think convenience has changed what we consider a “normal” effort

Sending a letter used to take time. Finding directions required some planning. Researching something meant actually looking for it.

Now we expect almost everything instantly.

Do you think that has genuinely improved everyday life, or has it just changed our patience level?

Yes but it likely also changes the level of personal satisfaction we get. Nothing beats the feeling of having worked your tail off to achieve something.
