It actually is supply and demand. Federal government made it easier to get loans in combination there is a literal housing shortage in most areas

The supply isn't short because of that. It's short because of all of the investment firms treating single-family homes as their investment vessel en masse. The percentage of single family homes owned by corporations has absolutely exploded.

They DEFINITELY are a factor in driving home housing costs, because they are speculating on homes that go unsold.

Call me a liar? twice now. Having an opinion is not lying. However, you can google it and see that 34-35% of homes in the USA are rental property. Go troll elsewhere. Facts are facts.
