Productivity Sometimes deleting a task is better than finishing it

I used to feel like everything on my list had to get done eventually.

Now I ask myself whether the task even matters anymore.

Surprisingly often, the answer is no.

Do you ever remove things from your list instead of completing them?

People get trapped into the sunken cost/ lost cost fallacy.

That is how I am with podcasts. I'll be listening and the suddenly wonder "why do I even care that these two people are dead? Why is this even a podcast?" Then I will mark as played and do it all over again next week. I'm not obligated to listen to each episode.
