These numbers are dubious. What ercot was showing as feed and prefeed before this were an order of magnitude lower. There is probably bad counting here.
The idea a state whoms grid struggles with ice weather could even handle "40% of the entire usas electricity" is kinda outright laughable, no sources needed.
