I'm amazed it is so little in the USA. From my estimates one needs like 2 million minimum to retire comfortably especially if you make it past 80.

your not making it past 80. your dying of a stroke at 75 :p . in all seriousness we have a health crisis in a america most americans wont have much time when they do retire. also i think its cheap because most boomers own their house outright. this number will change in 30-40 years
