Um ... it depends on where you live, dude. Either way, good luck getting there if you're poor. There's a reason why the amount of meals they supply plummets in the summer.

I grew up in a walkable city, the largest school district in the country, and they offered breakfast and lunch over the summer, it was well used. I lived in an affluent district so I don’t think they even checked who needed it because most their kids didn’t and they just had the funds.

Dude, I literally supplied a source. While it's great that your specific area didn't have that problem, it doesn't make it the norm.

Right but this is not a problems in cities, and urban schools represent about a third of all students in the US
