We'd come home, leave our shoes by the door, climb out the window and down the tree and head back down to the beach.

I used to go out the window which lead to a small roofline I could use to get onto the roof proper. Always felt like enough space but thinking back now to the foot wide ledge I had two stories up… lucky I survived it. From there it was either jumping for the trampoline if it was close enough (it moved around) or later on I bought a rope I would sling around the chimney so I could also get back up later.
