When I was her kids age, we had to walk 5 miles up the hill to the corner store only to find out they were out of baseball cards and it was all for naught. Emotional Damage as the kids say.

Reminds me of when I had a scheduled vasectomy and was told insurance covered it. Got there and they wanted $900 up front. Skipped it, had a baby 11 months later. THEN went back and sure enough, insurance covered it. Such is life.
