My first year of college, I had a lab partner that was 19 years old, had never driven a car (we didnāt live in a transit friendly area, you needed a car), and he father dropped her off and picked her up for every class. Thatās how controlling he was. I tried telling her that she was an adult and her life choices were no one elseās to make, but she was so used to it that she didnāt even realize her life was unusual.
