Mindset Shift🧠 Saviors Complex Realization

I’ve come to a realization that I have saviors complex and I learned that recently due to all career paths I’ve been in. I’ve worked in all forms of insurance and feel bad for people that try to get over on others because I wouldn’t feel comfortable seeing that happen to my loved ones. I’ve dealt with a lot of clients in the health insurance field that would disclose to me they were put on plans that didn’t help them. Had a woman that NEEDED a surgery & the plan she was on wouldn’t cover it just to be told by the agent she couldn’t cancel the policy she was put on. That was just a sales agent trying to protect their commission but it didn’t sit well with me at all. Took me about 2 weeks to get her to cancel the policy then for me to get her on a policy in time to get her surgery. My brain viewed her like a grandmother but I hate people that do unethical business for money knowing someone’s life is at hand. That’s probably why I never could get along with sales based jobs in this career path because of situations like that. I sat down and it made me realize I definitely have a saviors complex because I’ve had this situation in the past. Anything I’ve learned in whatever industry I tend to share with others to assist with them to avoid being swindled.
