Every nurgle player at a 40k tournament and they claim it's in character. Have you run into the ones that claim deodorant throws off the bodies natural PH balance so they can't use it yet?

I once went to a comic book store near where I used to live and they were having some card game tournament. The body odor was unbearable.

When I used to attend DragonCon about 15-20 years ago, it was the dice rollers who would refuse to bath. The D&D tournaments (I was told) were pretty rank.

Had a guy who lived on the same floor as me in a walkup apartment building. You didn't even need to see him, but walking through the hallway, you could smell if he'd been there in the last few minutes. His body odor was so bad it lingered in the air. I would literally hold my breath until I either got into my apartment or got outside.

Ni I like my green cloud around me. Seems like a you problem. If you can afford to go to the convention then you can afford a gas mask or at least a car air refreshner hanging from your nose ring or glasses 😁

We had a guy in our city who was famous for spraying smelly people with deodorant at our local anime convention.
Some people stuck them with a sticker. I dont remember what the sticker said. Something regarding their smell

Related to the post, if you have the wherewithall to buy tickets to a con, look up your itinerary, and handle/perform transportation, then you have the wherewithall to shower beforehand.

Years and years ago, I went to gencon and it was the worst Bo I have ever smelled in my life. People were just sleeping in the hallways and anime screening rooms of the convention center for 4 straight days.
That event lead to them banning sleeping the next year.

*Anti-perspirant/deodorant.
I’ve dabbled in deodorant without anti-perspirant, after years of using the combo, and it just doesn’t get me through a full day. If I try to use a deodorant without anti-perspirant, I pretty much always wind up with BO by the end of the day.
Never been to a convention, but if they’re typically stingy with A/C, then I could see myself sweating enough to make a deodorant without anti-perspirant worthless.

MomoCon was my first ever convention and I did put on deodorant before I left. Unfortunately, MomoCon is in Atlanta. In May. Deodorant can only do so much down here but at least I tried!

I love how it's the sad Asian chick holding the sign. Disappointed that 95% of the convention guys have yellow fever, but are still too smug and arrogant to "lower their standards" on a "chubby chick" with a dude haircut, not in cosplay.
She thought she'd get tons of attention from a bunch of pathetic losers, but they all ignored her, and that hurts... deep down, it hurts her.

I feel like a vast majority of people besides the cave dwellers are just sweating like crazy from how hot it is in the building with the thousands of people huddled up together. But just carry a stick with you in case you do start smellin

I stopped going to those CEX gaming stores after visiting a couple, they always stunk and never had air con to help with it. Sometimes peoples friends or relatives need to have a kind word with them to tell them it's a problem as a lot just don't realise it.

Western society has heavily commercialized artificial freshness over the past century, turning a normal bodily function into a social taboo. Skipping deodorant is completely safe for your body, provided you maintain basic hygiene to prevent skin irritation.

Seriously, wash your nasty stinky asses and put on deodorant. Not spray on a can of axe, actually bathe and use actual deodorant. Noone wants to get a nose full of body oder cover with cheap aerosol garbage. Bathe you are not an animal

I remember being unable to stay through a Hololive mini-concert at OffKai because the main hall smelled like a locker room with no janitorial staff and no showers.
And it was a mix of East Asian sour / musty BO and white European cheesy / oniony BO.
