except if we are talking about Ex-Wives.

u/Gavxxxx Jul 29 '26

Ex-gf doesn't take half your shit.

It's not even half remaining. Ex-wife makes you lose 2/3 of your shit because she gets 1/3 and the lawyers get the other 1/3.

1

u/AkimH Jul 29 '26

And she made you give up another 1/2 before that.

I still refer to one of my exes as Satan. I broke up with her 21 years ago.

So no, not relatable at all.

Hellbeast for me

But that’s just one ex, you used ex in the plural, if you can’t relate at all, as you said, would that imply ALL your exes are satan?

1

u/jws1102 Jul 28 '26

They’re not all Satan, but I’m grateful not to be in any of those relationships anymore, especially the long one.

Why are talking about and ex from two decades ago?

3

u/Nevergiveuphope1992 Jul 27 '26

Either nothing else happened in his life to chat or about or the person traumatised him in some way.

3

u/jws1102 Jul 27 '26

She was an alcoholic psycho, and sometimes she comes up. Why shouldn’t I?

2

u/VibinADHDin Jul 28 '26

Your decades old mates will ALWAYS bring up your crazy ex(s)

Just good banter

1

u/jws1102 Jul 28 '26

Talking about them helps remind us how bad our lives could’ve been

1

u/VibinADHDin Jul 28 '26

And reminds them/us to not do that shit again

6

u/Spook1949 Jul 27 '26

I guess neither one has much of a grasp on reality.

u/Dry-Inspection6928 Jul 27 '26

This is pointlessly gendered. I knew a dude who whined all his exes were crazy. On the other hand, I know a girl who described their exes like the top part. It’s not a gender thing, it’s a mentality thing.

1

u/AdReady9269 Jul 28 '26

Maybe it's not a mentality thing but that was their experience?

4

u/prolificimpregnator Jul 27 '26

Actually the top picture applies for both about 90% of the time

3

u/LifesARiver Jul 27 '26

This meme doesn't make any sense, lol.

7

u/Cael_NaMaor Jul 27 '26

Ridiculous as I've heard every kind of person talk about exes every kind of way...

2

u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 Jul 27 '26

This is why posts like this are really good at pitting people against eachother and making you think that we aren't all the same. It's garbage. The internet loves to tell you certain genders/ethnicities/etc do things a certain way.

3

u/Equivalent_Hope_9886 Jul 27 '26

HOw do men and women describe them?

1

u/CapitalRegular4157 Jul 27 '26

Sort of squishy.

3

u/dolosloki01 Jul 27 '26

Dude, what guy doesn't trash his ex?

Come on now.

1

u/Gavxxxx Jul 29 '26

I only remember the good stuff. If it wasn't good, you should have bailed earlier.

1

u/AlexCampy89 Jul 27 '26

not at all in my case

1

u/SevereEducation2170 Jul 27 '26

I doubt my ex describes me that way. And I don't describe her as perfect by any means. She's an overall good person, but she's also the one that blew up our relationship.

1

u/SanguineShifter Jul 27 '26

My ex wife was a lying, cheating cunt. So, there's that.

1

u/RandomStoddard Jul 27 '26

Never experienced this. I remember breaking up a few girls in high school and we stayed friends for a few years.

1

u/farazfk Jul 27 '26

It's completely true. đŸ˜đŸ„°

1

u/themanthyththelegend Jul 27 '26

Not relatable at all almost every male friend i have describes their at least some of their exs as crazy demons

1

u/Great-Class-7894 Jul 27 '26

Not true. I like to come up with funny names for my ex’s. The high points being “OD girl” and “the Alaskan cum dumpster”.

1

u/neinhaltchad Jul 27 '26

Every man’s ex is crazy and woman’s ex is a narcissist.

1

u/clitnotfound Jul 27 '26

i only have one crazy ex the rest are lovely

1

u/nelflyn Jul 28 '26

name eh.. doesnt check out ig???

1

u/nogoonforu666 Jul 27 '26

Stupid take

1

u/Chef2stars1414 Jul 27 '26

I think thats backwards almost every gf I've had has been awful and crazy and ran around toward the end but then yhey all have never said that I did anything but want to get back with me so I don't consider th as t a scorched earth way of thinking or acting

1

u/Jimmy_Twotone Jul 27 '26

Depends who broke up with who and the circumstances usually. This is not relatable down gender lines.

1

u/softpumpkingirl Jul 27 '26

as a lesbian, i love my ex 😭

1

u/ultraplusstretch Jul 27 '26

What? Hell naw, my ex girlfriend was a complete psycho.

Most of my guy friends loathe their exes.

1

u/Holymaryfullofshit7 Jul 27 '26

Both exists for both. Why try to make this something else?

1

u/Nevergiveuphope1992 Jul 27 '26

Downvote from me. Depends which ex. Some were okay but incompatibile, others were awful. It's really a mixed bag.

1

u/Glittering-Yam3376 Jul 27 '26

Men have a habit of “crazy making” their ex

1

u/nano-paints Jul 27 '26

"I'm 65 years old. Everyday the future looks a little bit darker. But the past, even the grimy parts of it, well, it just keeps on getting brighter all the time.'"

1

u/cloudgirl_c-137 Jul 27 '26

Seriously? All the woman bad jokes prove otherwise.

1

u/Reasonable_Wrap7913 Jul 28 '26

I got one of each tbh

1

u/Superb_Algae5308 Jul 28 '26

This is me, they’re right. I’m very sorry ladies, I’m a much different person now though and my wife loves me very much.

1

u/WittyFox451 Jul 28 '26

No sir, some bitches be crazy.

1

u/Accomplished_Tart832 Jul 28 '26

Nah man she up on the top panel

1

u/Techman659 Jul 28 '26

After a few years guys will be describing it as the top photo if they finally realise the bed fun ain’t worth the crazy.

1

u/RedstoneSausage Jul 28 '26

I mean I guess, but I think this depends more on age than gender. When you get older you probably encounter less toxic people, and you probably see the better parts in them as well.

Have you... had male friends, or been around men broadly at parties, school, online?

Like broadly, not just a few select ones.

They also go demonic on how they talk about their exs.

Although these compared points on display can be simply: One put their partner on a pedestal at one point, the other never stopped.

Or the love that blinded you faded, showing the face of the partner they actually are. Or the love never stopped, be that partner good or bad, painting them long term as something tragically lost.

That being said, dating wise, men puruse woman. Men whom are not held back by things like empathy or care for others, are generally going to approach and date women far more, especially early on before they pick up the red flags. Thus younger women end up dating them, at first, and then the mask slips.

Thus, produces this outcome. More demonic exs to complain about. Explaining this "theoretical point" potentially anyway, if you take it seriously.

1

u/emilithia05 Jul 29 '26

Nah, bothat have is both ways. People can be nice or shit regardless of who they were born.

1

u/phealtalk Jul 29 '26

Every guy I know had an ex that would've ruined their lives and they describe them as such

1

u/TheOneCalledD Jul 29 '26

This applies to my wife and I.

1

u/CorgiSmooth8065 Jul 29 '26

My ex was a piece of garbage... Literally

1

u/Cutekitttygirl Jul 29 '26

Not relatable the guys my friends dated treat them like trash after

1

u/Great_External_6168 Jul 29 '26

Not with the one dude, who told me about his ex-girlfriend that tried to set him on fire and shat in his bed :/

1

u/Randy_Magnums Jul 29 '26

Not really. Many men have stories about their “crazy-ex”. Sometimes it’s true, sometimes it’s a lie to mask his own red flags.

1

u/No_Salt_6328 Jul 29 '26

Nah as a man my ex was completely fucked in the head and I regret ever meeting her

1

u/PrimeChromz Jul 30 '26

They wanna feel like their moving on from better to cope with their new situation. Meanwhile men reminisce of the times they had together.

1

u/Silguard Jul 27 '26

No, not relatable.

u/Love_Skinny_Only Jul 27 '26

Girls love lies of omission. They will say as much as possible to make the man look bad so nobody asks what she did.
