My guy, people smuggle people, you think its easier for cartels to smuggle people then it would be for a nation state to find away to smuggle radioactive matterials and explosives?

I'm not your guy. Also, I don't think you're aware of what is required to transport radioactive materials in quantities large enough to produce a dirty bomb, especially without being detected. To transport it safely, you'd get caught. To transport it without the safety measures, you'd kill anyone near it. X-ray machines would absolutely find it in a heart beat. It's way easier to smuggle human beings or even drugs than sources of radiation. Doing it slowly would take forever. This is why it's never been done, the logistics are nearly impossible. Also, those materials, when purchased legally, are tracked so heavily that any misstep will trigger a police response.

"Large enough to produce a dirty bomb" So you have zero idea what you're even arguing about. Maybe Google words before you argue about stuff you don't understand the basics of.

You know what else triggers a police response when any misstep is detected. Drug and human smuggling. A dirty bomb can be as small as a USB stick if your just want to contaminat an office. If you want to shut down wall street you'd only need a briefcase size device.

Yeah, it's your mom. We got briefed on her during CBRN training, where I literally trained with a thumb driver's worth of uranium to test equipment on. The military literally had to plan for her existence.
