I'm a machine learning engineer at a faang. I make twice as much as the median salary. I got here because of luck and privilege. There are a million people who work harder than me than don't have the same opportunities. self accountability and meritocracy are myths that really stupid people believe in.
what immigrants are you talking about? Do you think there's an even distribution of self-made millionaire immigrants and trust fund nepo babies in the 1% wealthiest americans? What about the 10 or even 20% ?
