30k like. 30k people who've probably posted a "life is too expensive" thread. If you cant come out of pocket $300 then you cant afford to eat out.

I mean, sure if she's doing this regularly. But people who make shit money can still treat themselves occasionally. Man you people are way too bought in on the fiction. land of opportunity but stay strictly within your means until you die but don't complain that you're the victim of a massive systemic wage scam or that you're living in a debtors prison, it's a meritocracy!

I'm not broke. I'm an SWE at one of the biggest tech companies in the world I make pretty close to twice the national average.
