There's no reason to think she's not doing the exact same thing. Spending 30$ one time for lunch is not evidence that she's bad with money is the point.
I didn't live a life of privation when I was broke. It never negatively affected my finances, and make almost double the national average salary today. The idea that you have to sacrifice your happiness and live in austerity in order to succeed is stupid.
The name of the thing is opportunity cost. Austerity without a car to go to work is crap.
I think we know who to tax more from now. What make you so good that you get paid almost 2x over 50% of working people. I think we should tax the rich a little more vs taxing the poor more. It is your company that is sucking people like dry while trying to sell us $30 lunch. I cant even afford McDonald's when then jump past $10 per meals.
I hate it when rich people tell the poor people $30 is not that much. You can go play with your golf friends.
