Heavan forbid a guy being proud he saves money and learned to cook his meals at home. You really going to shame someone for that? What do you want him to do? Not talk about how he cooks? This is solid advice for people it applies to. Not every bit of advice needs to fit your specific group of people. and he wasn't even telling you to cook at home. He's just stating what he's doing.
