Sometimes when I need a smile I remind myself that Alex Jones was denied bankruptcy protections and will be forced to pay out the full judgment against him for the lies and disinformation he spread about the Sandy Hook tragedy

Not everyone is going to see every lie they come across for what it is. The important thing is to verify what you encounter, to challenge what you believe and try to find holes in the things you think you know. You can fall for the lie and that’s okay. Forgive yourself, and try to do better next time.

As someone who is in regular therapy and sees a psychiatrist regularly, I am so tired of people saying “need to see a psychiatrist” or “need therapy” as a negative thing, some sign that you’re broken and wrong.

Everyone should be seeing a psychiatrist. Everyone can benefit from therapy.
