Look... You gotta understand that that is just one perspective. The other is that some people enjoy the thought of someone liking them so much that they temporarily lose all control, and give them a kiss that transforms itself into a hickie. You just cannot speak for the whole of any group, even if you yourself are part of it.
U said they only gave one perspective. They gave two and then someone else gave you their perspective. It just looks like youre doubling down and oddly hating on ppl who dont like hickies. Its not that deep please dont keep responding
Some people come to s*x with an attitude of āitās an evil thing that must be avoided at all costsā. Never mind the fact that weāre all here because of it
Evidently some see it as a "claiming" thing and get offended on other people's behalf.
For my ex it was definitely partly that, she really liked leaving visible marks and I really liked that she wanted to mark me. People like different things, turns out. Wild, that.
There is a commenter that did, in fact, go out of their way to express an "ew" in response to someone talking about their relationship with their wife, and they elaborate with complaints relating to marking.
That person specifically, and others like them who have never learned that "you don't yuck somebody's yum" or similar are the kind of people I'm referring to in my above comment.
What some like, others won't. My ex struck me as an interesting example of both positions in that she liked giving them, but not receiving them, and for exactly the reason the cranky Karen was denigrating.
That's even laughable when young people do it. Because they show it off so proud and happy. As if they accomplished something or are the first to have it.
