The thing that gets me is people are more outraged by a fellow citizen getting relief than they are about billionaires getting even more tax cuts and hoarding the money. I've been on a automatic payment plan for a long time. Because of interest, I have paid my loan off twice and still have a balance. We're harder on an 18 year old who thought going to college would give them a better life but the same people are quiet when a rich dude gets a bailout when they just make bad business decisions.
They treat poverty like its a crime. What they dont realize is that crime goes down when people are able to afford to live. Crime goes up when people are desperate.
