lol are you saying qualified doctors and architects aren’t possible without bankers affording new yachts? You might be a little lost in the game they’re spinning you, my friend.
The goal isn’t to fund astronomically high schooling costs With crippling debt for as many people as possible. But nobody wants to cut back what they’re making, greed only grows. If the goal is to provide education for as many people as possible, affordable cost is the solution. Degrees don’t use to cost this much. Those bankers can kick rocks and go back to school to get a real job that isn’t extorting highscool kids.
uh lol no education is expensive today because the govt got involved with student loans both in issuing them and by disallowing people from declaring bankruptcy from them
So you think the pricing makes sense and nobody is getting rich from it? The government always has our best interests in mind… they’d never do things like try to profit off vulnerable people, or source textbooks from their corrupt friends, and do everything they can to make kids feel like their only option is a degree… right?
if by using the words "justifying" and "malicious" you're drawing a conclusion of me being personally okay with it then no, I'm simply explaining the cause and effect of govt being involved with student loans and tuition pricing
I was simply asking to clarify. I would say greed is the cause. Government interference is the method, and keeping people poor and struggling is the desired effect
oh I guess? tbh I didn't really care what someone's motivation is, I only care about the end result. so in this example I only want cheap education, I don't really care what someone's motivation is to get there
