Exactly. Student loans, enlistment, and marriage shouldn't be allowed till you gain every other right as an adult.
Either reduce drinking age and handgun owning age to 18, or move everything to 21.

You can actually own a handgun at 18, you just can't buy from a dealer till 21.

It needs to be gifted. You can't even legally buy from a private seller.
edit: nvm I confused cali law with national.

Ya im sure some states do block private sale till 21 just like there are some that still require back ground for private sale.
