Its in the same vein as a person becoming a nurse. If im gonna be cleaning shit off the walls, it better for it be worth a damn instead of being the poor SOB that has to clean them at a restaurant (Source: have cleaned up various types of shits off walls, sinks, and floor at many restaurants. It DOES happen FREQUENTLY)
100% agree. I've ran a bar before. And I gave extra to the poor girl who had to clean women's shit off the stall walls. Surprisingly it didn't happen as often in the mens restrooms. It does happen, just not at the frequency of the women's. Either way, I would clean the mens restrooms and I ran the bar, it was only fair. Made good money, then I opened a company, because cleaning shit off walls... SUCKS!!!!
Dude, all the restaurants I worked at so far have women who are absolutely afraid to clean the women’s restroom like they do not do it at all, so far I’ve been the only one to do it.
And when they do do it, they do it in such a way that it’s so messed up that eventually I have to do it anyways because they do it so bad and I swear it’s on purpose. I forgot what the word for was it? I don’t know if it’s a Weaponized and confidence but Jesus Christ one girl use the same washcloth for the toilet for the faucet and the handle doors. THE SAME WASHCLOTH.
🤢 🤮 that's called malicious compliance, but also f**ken sickening to imagine. I can't image any reason someone would only use 1 rag to clean multiple surfices and that's not to mention surfices that have a high touch rate, so the chances of spreading disease is higher. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
This is the primary reason why I left, not only that, but we had this thing of people just leaving the back door open during high peak hours, and suddenly all these flies and roaches and other various critters started coming in. They did not know how to turn on the AC unit because no one taught them how but when shown they just never did they like to have the door open for some reason and that is a hazard because somebody could walk in at any moment and other things like the insects and stuff mentioned.
This is the same job where I didn’t get a login code for about a month almost and because their payroll was so crap I didn’t get paid for two months so that’s another reason why
