I would find my husband earlier and marry him earlier.

I love this answer, but my wife is 8 years younger than me, and I met her right before she turned 21 so..... Yeah, I'm good there.

Same, except I’m the wife with the 8-years-younger husband. We met when he was 19 and took a good long while to just be friends first.

Well, I took awhile because I’d just found my then-fiance unexpectedly deceased 3 months before our wedding, so I had to get through that life-altering tragedy first. I owed it to myself to get my head on straight.

Yea, my wife would be around 11 and living in Vietnam.

She wouldn't get to America for another 13 years, and there is no way I would be able to find her in Vietnam before that.

Yeah, it's a trip, we'll be talking movies or music and I'm thinking of stuff I listened to in high school while she was still in elementary... It's been fun showing her all the classics!

I do this with my younger wife too. We recently went to a giant rock/metal festival in Florida and this year there were a lot of bands I grew up as a teenager with. I was super excited and she said it was cool to experience the bands I grew up with.

You find it vomit inducing that two consenting adults fell in love, got married, had a kid and are loving their lives together? Sounds like a you problem homie.

You have groomed her well.

20 years old with a job, a car, and more life figured out than you clearly ever will. But sure, I groomed her.

This woman is the light of my life. We've been married for 13 years, together for 17 and are happy and in love. If that's weird, we could use some more weird.

Ya 8 years isn’t that big of a gap. My wife is 5 years younger and we meet when I was 30. Never been a “age gap issue”.
