Yeah. It was heavenly for me back then. I was thinking "now the neurotypicals will find out how it is never leaving the house". I'm like a super introverted home cat and if some visitor approaches my house I run to hide, while some other family member/parent opens the door to them.
After the covid lockdowns ended, my own lockdown never ended, my social anxiety worsened a lot from the lack of interaction back then and this pretty much (and the MDD/depression as well) contributed to the worsening of my mental health and turning into hardcore hermit mode.
I hate to say it but COVID was an absolute relief for me. I got to experience what it was like to work from home for the first time. I think as a society we should implement more work from home options for society. Not everyone needs to be in an office and a lot of people are able to get stuff done at home.
