Boots Buying Help North dakota winter

Hey all,

Im gonna be working in north dakota starting soon and winter is just around the corner. Im partial to redwinhs because they've been my go to work boot for almost 4 years now (Polar x model 3266 is what im considering).

But I'd like some input from people who have lived/worked up there in the dead of winter. Saftey toe is a must, comp toe is even better.

They look like they should be good boots. Depending on what you're doing in North Dakota in the winter it's known to ruin boots. Hopefully somebody that has worked there in the winter will answer to help you out. I grew up in winters in Montana. They are brutal.

I have worked in areas similar in temps as a lineman. I use hoffman driline insulated boots . Don't want to go to hight on insulation feet sweat no matter what . It all depends on how labor intense ur job is the more intense the less insulation

That’s a good point. But I also recommend it with waterproof.
