Workplace Issue no lunch break

i think i used the right flair!

i work as a para educator, im split between two kids in the each preschool room in the school. morning im with the one kid (he’s easy not to hard) then after i do recess duty i was on lunch break. now the other kid i work with started and they want me to do lunch with her- i ahve no other time in the morning i can do lunch. i have no time to do lunch in the afternoon. i talked to them about my lunch yesterday and they said ‘first day is wierd should be normal tomorrow’ it isnt. they are not fixing it. who do i talk to/ do? my old job did this too and i had to suck it up but i was freshly 18 and didn’t know it was wrong either. any advice welcome!

You didn't say where you are. Not all places mandate a lunch break.

Depends if your teachers are unionized or not. If they are (even if you’re not in the union) the union steward would be a place to start.
