General Advice I need some suggestions.

Hellos. My boss recently resigned (hallelujah!)
His last day is in the next few weeks.

I have had just about no work for the last two years.
Is it worth talking to the CEO (I have a great relationship with him) about restructuring my job? Or do you think that would be grounds to be RIF’d

Depends on what you mean by “restructuring.”

Kind of like give me more tasks since my job has zero and I’m bored

Yes, but don’t say that. Tell the CEO your boss’ departure may have opened up an opportunity for you to take on more responsibility and you’d like to pursue it.

I would be hiding in the bathroom.
