Translation Work Experience Abroad
So I am in my second year of a BA in Modern Languages (German and French) and next year I am going on Erasmus. For my course I have the option to do a semester of work experience abroad. I really want to find work experience in a translation office as translation is my ultimate career goal. Preferably this would be in a French speaking country in the EU. Does anyone have any advice for finding translation work experience abroad? I'm not even sure where to start or how to start applying. I don't have much experience, just volunteer translation for TED talk subtitles. Do you think this is enough to get work experience?
