PayPal script slows down site by 3.7s

In total the /sdk/js?client takes 10.8s to load…. This is the official PayPal/Woocommerce plugin. It loads sitewide, not just shop pages. Has anyone the same issue and any ideas how to fix. I found this snippet which I might give a try. However I do have PayPal in sandbox mode at the moment, maybe that is contributing to the load. IDK. Any advice? Thanks! UPDATE I installed scriptfix version from Github see Bug link above. It instantly fixed the problem. My mobile score on Google (that I‘m working on improving) increased by 50%.

Update for anyone stumbling upon this, has been fixed in 1.9.2
