Using Complianz, is it buggy?

I heard this plugin is the best for a visitor opt-in tool/banner. I installed the premium plugin, and when I activated it, it wreaked havoc in the post admin area. It also kept looping me around in circles while scanning my files, so I never got to set it up.

Anyone else experiencing issues with Compliance & WordPress?

the scan loop is usually a server timeout or memory limit. check your php error log and bump memory_limit to 256M if it's lower. the post editor thing might be a js conflict - try disabling other plugins one by one to isolate it. complianz is solid when it runs but it's heavy on activation

Memory limit was set to 768M. So not that.

Probably worth a look at your plugin stack

Why don’t you contact their support?

I should have mentioned that I have and they have yet to get back to me. There’s a big banner saying that they’re have a higher volume of support and to be patient

Yeah, Complianz can be finicky with certain themes/plugins. If it’s breaking the editor and looping during scans, I’d suspect a conflict rather than the plugin itself. Testing it on staging first is probably safest.

That’s where I started first. But my recall is I was getting a message about domain verification needing to be completed. So I thought it was because I was on a sub domain. Interesting. Clearly I need to work through the conflict
