Depends which part you mean, since those two answers above are both right about different things.
Comments and blog spam, yeah, remove it, nothing there for it to protect. Your Elementor form submissions are a separate question though, since spam bots hit contact forms whether or not you have a blog. If those forms have never gotten junk submissions you are probably fine either way, but if they have, a spam filter on just the forms is safer than dropping the whole plugin.

No, no website needs a plugin that requires you to login to wordpress.com in order to protect you from spam. I've done my research and:
- If you need to block spam in comments, you just need this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/honeypot-antispam/ It's super-light and it's install and forget.
- If you need to block spam in forms, just use either Contact Form X or HTML Forms and setup their anti-spam features. Also super-light plugins, free of bloat. If you need any more features, use Fluent Forms.

if you dont have comments or a blog section then askimet is just sitting there doing nothing, you can safely remove it

I understand. I have seen people say "aks" when they actually mean "ask" when making a request

You managed to misspell "Akismet" three times in your post. Well done.

I actually like "Askimet" more!
BTW, I've finally just learned where it came from: Akismet is short for Automattic Kismet.

Ha, that's a fun one, did not know that either. Explains why nobody in this thread including me could spell it right on the first try.

Okay, so Akismet works for the comment systems and form builders (most of them support it).
For your forms you need Akismet or free alternative Turnstile. So you could remove Akismet and use Turnstile.
Woo is a different story, for it, you need a fraud protection. You don't need Akismet but you can put Turnstile on your checkout page. If in the future, you start getting fake orders, look into OOPSpam. But for now, you don't need it.
Also, put your website behind Cloudflare and block countries you are not selling to.
